The Wichita-Sedgwick County Historical Museum will hold its eighth annual “Blue Moon at the Museum” party, transforming the Museum into the original Blue Moon Nightclub, which was located on South Oliver during the 1940s and 1950s. The club was a popular gathering spot for adults to dine and dance to the nation’s most famous orchestras. At our Blue Moon, guests will enjoy dinner, drinks, dancing and music from former Wichitan, renowned jazz singer Donna Tucker and her band.
Guests will also have a chance to see the special exhibit celebrating 150 years of the Chisholm Trail and enjoy the 24 other exhibits on all floors of the 1890 City Hall Building.
Tickets are $100 per person, of which $50 may be considered tax deductible. For tickets call (316) 265-9314.
