Heritage Square Opening Soon

SQ-logoHeritage Square will open to Museum visitors during regular hours, weather permitting. The Square was created in 1975 when the central police station was razed and the old City Hall renovated for the Historical Museum. Wichita Junior League created Heritage Square in celebration of their organization’s 50th anniversary.

In Heritage Square visitors will find a tranquil environment while they encounter outdoor exhibits about our local history. The space is also used for programs and events hosted by the Museum and its community partners.

Heritage Square will also available for use by the public. Please contact the Museum Office for further information by phone 316-265-9314 or email wschm@wichitahistory.org
