March 24th — Join Wichita Art Museum Curator Tera Hedrick for a closer look at the exhibition The Artistic Life and Work of Genevieve Frickel. Frickel was a key figure in the midcentury Wichita art scene, as the director of the Genevieve Frickel Art Studio and the Index Gallery. As Wichita experienced unprecedented growth after WWII, Frickel—like our city—was hungry for more opportunities, inspiration, and recognition.
